Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VoxStories ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

VoxStories is an AI-powered platform that enables users to:

• Create written books with GPT-5 AI assistance
• Generate professional audiobooks using AI voice synthesis
• Create animated videobooks for YouTube
• Download content with full copyright ownership
• Access 470+ AI voices for narration
• Monetize content through YouTube and future mobile app publishing

All files (including audiobooks, videobooks, covers, and user data) are securely stored on Cloudflare R2. By signing up and using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to your files being stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept all responsibility for activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Subscription Tiers

VoxStories offers the following subscription plans:

• Free Plan: Limited features with monthly usage caps
• Basic Plan ($19/month): 100,000 voice characters, 20 covers, 500 assistant requests
• Premium Plan ($39/month, first month $29): 200,000 voice characters, 50 covers, 1,000 assistant requests
• Elite Plan ($99/month): 800,000 voice characters, 100 covers, unlimited assistant requests

4.2 Payment Terms

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

4.3 Usage Limits

Each plan includes specific monthly usage limits for voice generation characters, cover images, and writing assistant requests. Usage limits reset at the beginning of each billing period. Exceeding limits may result in service interruption until the next billing cycle or upgrade to a higher tier.

5. Intellectual Property and Content Rights

5.1 Your Content

You retain all intellectual property rights to content you create using VoxStories, including written books, audiobooks, and videobooks. By creating content on our platform, you grant yourself full copyright ownership and authority over your created works.

5.2 License to Use the Service

By uploading or creating content through VoxStories, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and deliver your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This license terminates when you delete your content or close your account.

5.3 AI-Generated Content

Content generated through our AI tools (including text, audio, and images) is provided to you with full copyright ownership. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of AI-generated content complies with all applicable laws and third-party rights.

5.4 VoxStories Platform

The VoxStories platform, including all software, algorithms, design, and proprietary technology, remains the exclusive property of VoxStories. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of our platform.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use VoxStories to:

• Create content that violates any laws or regulations
• Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
• Generate hateful, defamatory, or harmful content
• Create sexually explicit content involving minors
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated systems (bots) to access the Service without permission
• Resell or redistribute our services without authorization
• Create content that violates YouTube's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines

Violation of this policy may result in immediate account termination without refund.

7. Third-Party Services

VoxStories integrates with third-party services including:

• Google OAuth for authentication
• Facebook OAuth for authentication
• Stripe for payment processing
• Cloudflare R2 for file storage
• OpenAI GPT-5 for text generation and writing assistance
• Various AI voice providers for audio generation

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or policies of third-party services. By creating an account and using VoxStories, you consent to your data being processed by these third-party services as necessary to provide the Service.

8. Affiliate Program

VoxStories offers an affiliate program that allows users to earn commissions by referring new customers. Participation in the affiliate program is subject to additional terms and conditions. Commissions are paid according to the schedule and requirements outlined in the affiliate program documentation. We reserve the right to terminate affiliate accounts that engage in fraudulent activity or violate program terms.

9. Monetization and Revenue

9.1 YouTube Monetization

VoxStories enables you to create animated videobooks for YouTube. You are solely responsible for complying with YouTube's monetization policies and terms of service. We do not guarantee that your content will be eligible for YouTube monetization.

9.2 Future Mobile App Publishing

We plan to launch mobile app publishing where creators may earn revenue from their audiobooks. Details, terms, and conditions for this feature will be provided prior to launch. Participation will be optional and subject to additional terms.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

10.1 Service "As Is"

VoxStories is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10.2 AI-Generated Content

AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, errors, or inappropriate material. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all AI-generated content before use. We are not liable for any consequences arising from your use of AI-generated content.

10.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoxStories shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or revenue, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VoxStories, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Content you create or distribute using the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

12. Data Storage and Backups

All your files, including books, audiobooks, videobooks, covers, and other media, are stored on Cloudflare R2 infrastructure. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data and maintain redundancy through Cloudflare's infrastructure, we are not responsible for data loss. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of content created on VoxStories. We recommend regularly downloading your content to your local storage.

By signing up for VoxStories, you acknowledge and consent to having your files stored on Cloudflare R2 and agree to Cloudflare's data storage and processing practices.

13. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason we deem appropriate. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where VoxStories is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of VoxStories after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

17. Severability
