Data Deletion

Learn how to delete your VoxStories account and personal data, including data associated with Facebook login.

Facebook Login Users

If you signed up using Facebook, this page allows you to request deletion of all data associated with your Facebook account, in compliance with Facebook's data deletion requirements.

Option 1: Self-Service Account Deletion

If you have an active account, you can delete it directly from your account settings.

How to Delete Your Account:

  1. Log in to your VoxStories account
  2. Go to your Account Settings or Profile page
  3. Look for the "Delete Account" or "Account Deletion" option
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm deletion

What Gets Deleted:

  • • Your personal information (name, email, profile data)
  • • All your books, chapters, and written content
  • • Generated audiobooks and video files
  • • Book covers and images
  • • Voice preferences and settings
  • • Account history and usage data

Option 2: Request Data Deletion

If you cannot access your account or need assistance with data deletion, submit a request below.

If you signed up with Facebook, provide your Facebook User ID for faster processing

Processing Timeline:

We will process your data deletion request within 30 days as required by data protection regulations. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

By submitting this request, you confirm that you are the account holder or authorized to request deletion of this data.

Important Information

Data Retention: After deletion, some data may be retained for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or legitimate business purposes as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Backups: Deleted data may persist in backup systems for up to 90 days before being permanently removed.

Third-Party Services: Data shared with third-party services (OpenAI, Cloudflare R2, payment processors) is governed by their respective privacy policies.
